Three years ago, we started Sandbox because we wanted to support people who were just like us: young and passionate about building things.

We are convinced that if the leaders of tomorrow meet in their twenties, build things together, learn from each other and grow together for the next 10, 20 and 30 years, they will change the world.

That's why Sandbox exists.

Turning three years old encouraged us to reflect both on the past and on the future. What has actually happened in the last three years? And how can we support amazing young creators out there even better? We have found some pearls in our archives and are excited to share a preview of the next Sandbox features which we’ll introduce in 2013. Happy Birthday and thank you guys for being part of this amazing journey, we can’t wait for the adventures in the next 3 years!

3 Years of Amazing People

In the last three years, over 25,000 people have applied to Sandbox. Together with the help of our Ambassadors, we have curated a group of 750 extraordinary young achievers in 53 countries.

Sandboxers are connected.
Through our local and global groups, Sandboxers have found anything from speaking opportunities in Romania, a couch in Greece, and research experts in New Delhi.
Sandbox has helped us contact high level people like Lady Gaga and people who would be impossible to contact, like Somali pirates. But the true power of Sandbox is its support - being surrounded by people who are as crazy as you are to think that they can change the world!
